It's been quite a week! I did a world wind trip to Little Rock for the filming of Lady Antebellum's concert. I made sure to fly home early so I could attend the best party I have been to in years.
Last night Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, hosted a fun filled bring in the summer bash at Rande's restaurant Cafe Habana. If you're in the area make sure to stop by. The food is terrific and it's a great place to hang with friends. The night was also celebrated with Gerber's new Rum, Caliche ! I love this: "AGED WELL, NOT WELL BEHAVED"
Yes there were celebrity sightings but I won't bore you with that :) ! I had so much fun dancing and mingling with fellow Glammers. Let me introduce you to a few of my peers that are celebrities in their own right. I have learned from them & been inspired by them over the years.
First there's Peter Savic, who I assisted on one of the first GUESS campaigns in the early 90s. He's a hair genius working with people like Madonna, Gwen Stephanie, Lady GaGa and every super model under the sun.
Fran Cooper who is one of the reigning queens of makeup. She's been working with Cindy since the very early days of her career. She's also has worked with Britney Spears, Janet Jackson and most if not all super models. Are you seeing a pattern here?
Richard Marin is another hair guru styling the tresses of Cindy, Tina Fey and Kim Kardashian to name just of few. Richard also has a line of hair tools for Remington and you can check out his blog and get all of your hair questions answered.
I hope you've enjoyed getting to know a few more of the very talented people that I call friends and colleagues. Until next time, stay cool & beautiful. ~terri
