Crashing the Prom with Lady Antebellum

Don't get me wrong, I love every moment of my job, but there are some days that go above and beyond the world of beauty and into the world of good will. Traveling with Lady Antebellum around Kentucky last week just happened to be one of those moments. It was another incredible week with the trio.

I flew to Nashville where we shot the video for their newest single ("Wanted You More") and got to enjoy some Southern hospitality. While the jet setting life is fun, the true excitement of the trip came when we boarded the official Lady A bus and headed for Louisville.

Before taking to the stage for a fundraising concert at the KFC Yum Center in the center of town, we headed out to Henryville, Indiana--a small rural town that was devastated by a horrendous tornado months ago--to help rebuild spirits.

What once began as a small idea of Lady Antebellum crashing a prom, suddenly became one of the most memorable and popular charity events of the year. Not only were the townspeople glad to see the band, they were glad that people had not forgotten about them. No one was going to be left behind.

Below is a clip from USA Today which the amazing power of the day better than my words can.

It was an emotional and magical day from start to finish. I know that I am not the only one who feels that way.

We love you Henryville! If you would like to help out with this ongoing effort. Click here to be directed to Lady Antebellum's official fundraiser for the town.
