One beauty trend that is sure to heat things up this holiday season are red lips. The thing to remember about red lipstick is that it can make or break a look.

Here are some rules when applying red lipstick:

1. Use a lip liner that is close to the color of your natural lip, this way you can get your shape defined and if there are any mistakes it's easier to clean up.
2. Fill in the entire lip with the lip liner to get the same texture and shade.
3. For extra insurance against feathering, use DuWop Reverse lip liner on the outside edge of your natural lip liner.
4. Now fill the entire area in with your RED lipstick. Blot with a tissue to set.
5. Finish with gloss if desired, but remember the time of day and occasion you are attending.
