VIV magazine hits the digital newsstands

The crew arrived early to a beautiful contemporary house with a majestic view in Bell Canyon, CA. We set up hair, makeup and wardrobe in what was the most modern guest rooms I've ever been in. On a shoot like this, the fashion editor will usually try all the clothes on the model first, this sets the mood for the shoot and then they have time to steam, alter and accessorize. Once the clothes are decided on, it’s off to hair with stylist Robert Steinken. Robert proceeded to blow dry and set the model's hair, so that her sleek look would last all day. Now it’s my turn! Because of the environment of the house, I decided we would do a look that had soft drama on the eyes and the lips would change as the outfit changed. The theme of the shoot was “What’s Black, White and Read All Over.” If you’ve been looking for a magazine with lots of great pictures and information from lifestyle to fashion, you’ll love VIV magazine.
