Piper Perabo talks about Beverly Hills Chihuahua

I love my job!  I got to spend the weekend with my friend and client Piper Perabo promoting her new Disney movie "Beverly Hills Chihuahua".  We had so much fun sassing up her freshly cut bob, catching up and talking about dogs.  Not only a fun weekend but educational, I now know how to spell chihuahua, thanks to Piper's mom.   "Do you know how to spell chihuahua?", she asked Piper before she came to LA for the press junket.  It's so easy when you break it down to "chi" "hua" "hua"!!!   It's a little like being in Hawaii.  :)

Beside the spelling lesson, I also learned that all the dogs used in the movie that were from shelters were placed in homes before the movie wrapped and the star dog himself was rescued from a shelter just in the nick of time.  He is the quintessential rags to riches story.

OK back to the fun stuff, as I mentioned earlier, I sassed up Piper's bob by blow drying it with 2 of my can't live without  hair products, prawduct's super volumizing tonic and Bumble and bumble surf spray for volume and texture.  Then I used my new favorite hair tool "The ghd Styler" to put in some waves and bends and finished it off with a little Magic Move.

I am always inspired when I do Piper's makeup, this time I decided to go with a strong smudged liner  MAC fluidliner in "Shade" mixed with "Royal Wink".  On her cheeks one of the new Amazing Seven Blushes from Amazing Cosmetics "Mucho Mango".  I kept the lips simple with Kiehl's Lip Balm #1.

I hope you enjoyed this post of Confessions of a Celebrity Makeup Artist.  Come back soon.
