POP Peak Performance Mascara
I was just given a new mascara to try, it's POP beauty Peak Performance Mascara in Brilliant Black. I like the packaging, read on to see the rest of my review.

The Brilliant Black is very black, which I like.
They've changed from your typical wand to a comb
like brush combo applicator. It reminds me of using a feather brush, which I sometimes do when wanting a more feathery lighter mascara look. I think it takes some getting used to using this type of applicator, but the results I got were nice.
The formula is very wet. I noticed that it took longer to dry so I had to be careful about blinking my eyes too much or too hard.
Though in the end I like the results. Here is an example of one coat vs 2 coats.

<<<< One coat of POP Peak Performance Mascara.
Two coats >>>>>>>>
Because of the wetter formula you might want to keep a clean mascara wand or lash comb on hand to ensure desired separation or to avoid clumps. Practice makes better, so I say give it a try if you're in the market for trying a new mascara.

The 12 Days of Christmas!!
I can not believe that we've already entered the 12 days of Christmas and Hanukkah is underway, this year is coming to a close and fast. I will give you a little update of what I've been up to the last couple of weeks.
The beginning of December I went to Nashville to film Lady Antebellum's Christmas special that aired on GAC, called "On This Winter's Night"
Then I flew home to work with the lovely Jaclyn Smith for her 2013 Spring line at Kmart. That was a fun day and there are some really nice pieces in her line. After the day of shooting it was straight back to LAX to fly to Vegas, baby!!
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, just kidding. We had a very successful photo shoot with Lady Antebellum. We finished up Vegas at the ACA's, which Lady A took away two awards and got everyone into the holiday spirit by closing the show with a festive performance.
OK, are you tired yet? I was!! As soon as their performance was over I jetted straight back to LA so I could get 5 hours of sleep before returning to work the next morning with Jaclyn Smith. Are you seeing a theme here? We spent a great day at Kmart in Burbank where Jaclyn did shopping sprees with a "Decorate It Forward" winner and the cutest little girl from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Now it's time to catch up on Christmas preparation, planning out an already busy 2013 and sharing more a long the way with you. Thanks for reading and come back soon!
